Self-First Service on 700R
Just wondering if anyone has done their first service themselves rather than take the quad to the shop to have it done. Is it something that can be done with a service manual and mechanical ability? Or is this something I should have the shop do? Thanks

Ive changed the oil filter and engine oil filter twice already. I lubed the zerk fittings on the swing arm, but could not do so with the a arms because the fittings are not 90 degrees.
I have an aftermarket air intake and have been maintaining that.
Ive checked the spark plug 3 times already.
Ive checked and lubed the chain.
All this is very easy to do.
I have yet to adjust the valves.

OK, so its really just basic stuff, I figured. I just didnt want to have to take my quad the 50 miles to the dealership. Has anyone tried to adjust their valves? Or is it really not a necessary item to do? ThanksShane
