Self-First Service on 700R
#1
Just wondering if anyone has done their first service themselves rather than take the quad to the shop to have it done. Is it something that can be done with a service manual and mechanical ability? Or is this something I should have the shop do? Thanks

Ive changed the oil filter and engine oil filter twice already. I lubed the zerk fittings on the swing arm, but could not do so with the a arms because the fittings are not 90 degrees.
I have an aftermarket air intake and have been maintaining that.
Ive checked the spark plug 3 times already.
Ive checked and lubed the chain.
All this is very easy to do.
I have yet to adjust the valves.

OK, so its really just basic stuff, I figured. I just didnt want to have to take my quad the 50 miles to the dealership. Has anyone tried to adjust their valves? Or is it really not a necessary item to do? Thanks
