Grizzly Wind Shield
Yeah Pledge works great plus it makes it nice and shinny and leaves a layer that dirt/mud can't stick to as much so cleaning it is alot easier. Just like car wax but pledge won't scratch and works great on plastic where some waxes I saw actually scratch plastic more than it helps. Some people use WD-40 but I don't recommend that as it can break down certain rubbers and I heard of plastic dulling over time.

As well as windsheilds pledge works on your visors , goggles and even on glasses. You can also use Plexus but it cost 3 times as much as pledge.
after a hard season the Bikes get cleaned with mean green . it takes all dirt including bark and sap off then a goog coat of pledge and the quad looks new again.

I ordered a windshield from Yamaha for my Grizzly. I am looking for thoughts from people who have used this item on thier quads before. </end quote></div>
I've had the Grizzly windshield for a few years now and highly recommend it in the winter especially when plowing a long driveway. My problem is the black rubber gasket type things (four of them) that hold the windshield in place, are starting to crack and split. I went to a dealer and he said I was out of luck. Anybody had any luck replacing these? Thanks. (BTW, the Pledge works great!)

If you mean the rubber molding...

Thanks Gord. I mean the 4 rubber grommet/gaskets that hold the windshield between the windshield itself and the 4 bars that connect to the handlebars. If you look at the windshield, there are 4 screws, the four screws that screw in to the 4 bars that attach to your handle bars. Between the screws and the windshield are 4 rubber gasket type things that, I would imagine, are shock absorbers for the plastic windshield. If you've seen them, they look like black miniature bagels with a groove on the outside of it. I need to replace those.
