Grizzly 660 carb help
#1
I have an 02 Grizzly 660 and recently had my carb rebuilt by my local dealership. After re-installing it is now dumping fuel into the crankcase. Since there is no external adjustments besides idle speed, Does anyone have any suggestions for a quick fix without having to take it apart again?

The float is hanging up, and is leting the float bowl overflow. There should be a drain tube on the float bowl and the gas should have come out of that, but it must be plugged, and now the gas is spilling over, and into the intake...not a good situation. Because now the gas is washing down all the oil off the cylinder and rings.
For now, make sure the gas tank valve is to off, so the gas stops flowing. Next, make sure you do an oil change.
Sometimes the needle isnt quite in the seat, or a piece of crud is in the way. Try rapping on the float bowl, with the gas in the on position, and maybe that will dislodge the obstuction. If it doesnt...then youll have to at least take the float bowl off, and look inside to make sure it was assembled correctly.
But for sure open up the overflow tube, so the gas dumps on the floor, and not into the motor.

Thanks for the help! I had taken it back off yesterday and found the cause. The carb has a port on both sides (I'm guessing) to dump the fuel incase of a roll over. They did not reinstall the cap on the unused side, and I had missed it when reinstalling.
