Parts break and **** happens, just be thankful you have a warranty to cover it. Honda's break too, none of them are perfect.

thats ridiculous,,,,one thing happens, and you "will never own anouther Yamaha"?

now if they didnt stand by it,i could see the animosity,,,,,or if every other Grizzly ,or Yamaha had the same major malfunction

ive been beating on mine since May of '04,and the only problems were caused by myself,,,,the bike has givin me zero grief

go back to Honda if their so perfect

Man that really sucks, atleast you don't have to pay for it to get fixed. Don't give up on that grizz yet, those thing are bad @ss. My buddy has one and I love ridding it, that thing pulls like a freakin ox. He has had it for about a year and a half and has had zero problems.

Phart,
Hey I can see that he would get a bit freaked about it cause he has always had good luck with hondas probably the most reliable still. But rrosh dont give up on the griz they have a good track record and are a sportier ute than I thought they were when I bought mine, although if I were you I would push the dealer to get you a new motor ,If it was bad from the factory they should send you a new motor, personally I would'nt want my motor cracked open and struined all over a bench and being rebuilt by a so called tech, I just really like to know that the guy working on my quad knows his SHEET! Or you will end up with other probs. But seriuosly give the GRIZ another chance.Good luck.

YAMAHA screwed up big time when they designed that rod. You'd think they'ed have them phased out by now. Did it break at the wrist pin oil hole?
