I've been a Polaris guy for years. Owned about 10 in total with 3 Predators, a 03, 04, and 05. Sold the 05 to get a Outlaw, but because of delays I just could not wait any more. I've heard many great things so far on the Raptor 700 and really liked the looks of them at the dealers. So today I bought one. So for the first time in many years I have a manual sport quad other then a Pred. The fit and finish on the 700 is top notch one of the nicest looking quads out there. The power is totally different then the Pred. The Pred doesn't have much low end, but hits hard in the mid and keeps going. The 700 hits great right from the bottom all the way up with no abrupt hit. Much smoother power delivery and most likely will be easier on the trails. I didn't get a whole lot of seat time as we got over a foot of snow yesterday, but from seat of pants feel the 700 feels pretty close to the Pred. But again the road was snow covered so traction was limited. But so far it looks to be a well built atv and look forward to more seat time. My wife and daughters even came up to me and said that this atv is the nicest looking one I've owned.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Congrats GE! I think you'll be very happy with it. I ride with a couple piped Preddys and they run about even to my stock 700R and their Preddys run very well. I haven't raced them yet with my mods.................but I already know what the outcomes going to be..........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Has anyone tried the new black nerf bars and bumpers? They would look great on my white 700 but want to know how the black holds up.
