Hey guys,
I have been talking to CrayCraft racing and I have become very intrested in their 686 big bore kit (which now comes with cp pistons). Has anyone had experience with craycraft and bought the 686 bigbore kit. Is their a big difference.
I'm also going to get Sparks racing exhaust.

Extremely common build, especially on these forum boards. Look around, you'll find quite a few happy customers.

There is a big difference, you will be happy with a 686, just dont take shortcuts and make sure you change the rod and get the stock carbs modded and then jetted properly(maybe on a dyno to get correct A/F ratio). I have had two builds off craycraft and bob is very helpfull and thorough and I have only dealt with bob over the net and phone.
The other name you will only hear good things about is Kenz although I have not dealt with him I have spoken to a few people very happy with them.

Bob is going to replace the rod, valves etc. when I send him my head. It will take a little while to get my funds up (a month maybe less) before i can get the motor work done.
I need to get a new axle (g-force), sprokets, chain, clutch, and axle bearing for now (wear and tear stuff)
Then I will get the 686 bigbore kit and sparks racing exhaust.
Anyone with 686 kit know their topspeed and horsepower. Just curious on what to expect.
haha plus I weight 145 so it should runlike a bat out of hell.

I don't remeber but I think 1300 to get a new rod, valves, piston etc. It is listed for 1600 on his website. He said he usaully sprays them down with a chemical or something but for the riding I do he said it wasn't necassary.

145 lbs with a Craycraft 690? You will be unbeatable.

lol, truthful my raptor has no problem dragging my skinny but around in stock form so I imagine it will haul. I'm 21 so I got a little more filling out to do (maybe 160-170) so exstra power is going to hurt. The only problem I can think of is that I don't weigh enough to keep the front end down with my atv in stock forum with 22in mud machines. I may have to get a longer swingarm. What would be a good swingarm lenght for someone that likes to trail ride, occanisal drag race, and jumps and wheelies a lot.
