Default Raptor +4.5 swingarm & wheelies

I know it help ideally for off the line drags and better balance
up hills. If I get an extended swingarm for my 2004 660 raptor
what will it be like for wheelies? I also like having the ability to
pull the front end up at will, will I just have to pull up harder??
Anyone with this setup please let me know,

Thanks!

Depends a whole lot on how much power you have. That's too much length for an internally stock raptor IMO.

I Have a full HMF Pipe, Jetted, K&N filter, so it's not quite stock.
But not the fastest either..........This would be with the bolt on
extended swingarm, I can't find any other extensions other than
the 4.5". Any other opinions/comments?

Like I said, internally stock.

You'll want a +2 unlesss you plan on significantly boosting your power output.

You won't find a + 2 extension. You need a complete swing arm. Check ebay for better pricing.

f- that get the +4, if you get the +2 you'll just end up selling it on ebay like all the other idots that should of bought a +4 first. i have a almost stock raptor with very minor internal mods, and my +4 is perfect. i can wheelie in 4th and 5th. stright line performance and significantly improved and teh front end still wants to come up on a hard launch.

CT,

Does the +4 give it a heavy front end feel like a Banshee or LT250 or any of the "old school" quads?

Can you get any traction in the desert?

Does your front suspension bottom out with the +4?

Do you just hill shoot or do you ride trails and stuff too?

Just wondering.

master, my front feels light, i mean its nothing like it was when it was stock, and it doesnt take any convincing on my part to put the wheels toward the sky and im on a stock bore. i have no clue how you run you 686 on a stock arm, thats great....lol and my front is a +2 on each side, and yeah i bottomed out easily i went up two clicks on teh shocks and it helped out a lot. doesnt matter the set of yfz have on order from plao verde suspension will fix all this. +4 swingarm on the stock shocks was terrible with a capital T. every inch you extened your arm you add like 150lbs weight to your shock. so i also dropped that off at palo verde and he hooked me up with a new shock, eibach spring, custom setting for $300 and my bike rips through the whoops now i live it! i dont ride in the desert ne more it scrathes the powdercoat...lol. but i do get traction on my payment flying down my street. yup. i do more trail riding than i do hill shooting. and let me tell you the +4 swingy, +2 axle, and +2+1 a-arms and new shocks are night and day and i cant explain enough how much better my bike rides, its liek a damn cadillac, i ride my friend stock raptor and im swear i think ill tip the damn thing over, i get off and say to myself how does he ride this thing...lol
