Default WOLVERINE PLOW PROBLEMS

I have a 2003 Wolverine with a 48" plow, it has to be lifted so high with the soft suspenion(even set on firm setting) that the winch cable gets caught on the roller fairing. Has anyone seen suspension stiffereners that can be added easily just for plowing? Or any other ideas that would help, Thanks!

you should have a bar that gets attatched to the front bumper that is higher than the fairlead with a hook on it,,,the cable should come out from the winch,,,,,,through a roller in the center of the push tube assembly,,,,,and then up to the hook on the bracket

this is how it works on my Grizz,,,,,if yours is differant,im not sure,,,but it shouldnt have the cable coming directly from the fairlead, that is definatly the problem,,,,your missing a part to the system

did you buy it second hand?

i'll take a pic of the bracket on my bumper of my Grizz, and add it tonight,,,,its pretty simple, and im sure you will be able to make something makeshift, that will be just fine, and cure your problem
