A FEW DUMB QUESTIONS...
#11
I dunno, some people could grasp it quick, while others it might take a little bit. I agree that these machines are not the best to start out on, but if you are capable of learning quick, knowing your limits, and taking it easy until you are ready, I think it can be done. Of course there are going to be lots of questions. We should give as much information as possible to help these guys, as they are fellow riders.

So lets not give him advice on what he should expect and what he should or should not do??? If it is a kid messing with his dads quad, I sure hope he gets busted ridding it before he gets hurt.

if your not a pilot and want to jump in someones plane, and take it for a spin, without ever having any flying lessons,,,,,and someone was on the internet telling you "what to expect",,,does that in any way qualify you to fly that aircraft?
dramatization,,,but still the same principle
were talking about someone that doesnt even understand the simplist of tasks that is required to operate one of the fastest production bikes offered

if any of you were like i was when i was "learning" how to ride (as if it ever ends),,,you ride it for awhile, and then you settle into a "comfort zone" where you feel you have it down,,,,,you know, and i know that this is exactly the period of time that your gonna screw up,,,,and with that bike,,,,when he screws up,its going to be monumental

Just messing around on the ice with my quad... I realized might be a little to much for me... So if anybody wants to make me an offer on a 2001 Yamaha Banshee let me know.. Located in South Central Wisconsin. I just know I jumped into the sport way to quick with such a fast a powerful wheeler... I'm 20 and hope to live well longer than that.. and I think that means getting rid of this.. lol

I agree with that logic, but its to late. The guy has the quad and needs help, he has turned to us and this site for any info he can find. He is starving for info and wants to ride his new toy. Was it the best choice for someone to start on this quad? By all means no.
