My 660 is about 48 inches wide and I typically run public trails that are 50" wide. And when they say 50, in a lot of places they really mean 50. I have swiped a few trees with the tire sidewalls, but never actually "hit" a tree, let alone hard.

If you're riding in places where you cant fit your bike, you need to go smaller. Most axles are adjustable and can be shortened to a +2, stock, and even -2. I'd try adjusting before replacing.

Of course you could always slow down and ride at your skill level, running fast through the woods and clipping trees and stumps can and will cause a nastry wreck and serious injury.

Wider than 50 would require a +7 or +8 rear end. Unless you're running a +5 axle along with +1 offset rear wheels or wheel spacers you are under 50. If you're over 50 with your axle adjusted in (+2 or +3 axle) then you'd need offset wheels AND spacers.

i can ride good bro we went riding today and you told me you where behind me and that my axle is really wide

ok i measured it.it measures 48in and it was much longer when i first got it. it was like a 52 in because my hubs are adjustable on my axle there are spacers on my axle so i can adjust how far in or how far out i want my hubs to be
