Question About My New 2006 YFZ450 Bill Ballance Edition
I just got an '06 450 Bill Ballance Edition and everything I read says that it is just a graphics mod. Mine came with the basic graphics of the YFZ450 but it has a GYTR pipe and airfilter. The salesman said that is what the Bill Ballance edition comes with. It sounds awesome and the performance is just insane. Anyway I was just wondering what the deal is with the Bill Ballance special edition. I would much rather have my pipe and filter than graphics anyday.

The Bill Balance edition YFZ is a regular blue YFZ with a GYTR filter, pipe, nerfs, front bumper, and graphics. If yours doesn't have the graphics it is because the dealer did not want to pay his service department to install them. Yamaha only gives the dealers a hundred dollars or so to install all of those parts, which is not enough money to cover the labor cost. The dealer is supposed to make up the difference with a higher profit on the Bill Balance edition than they may have been able to make by selling a regular blue YFZ.
You should have had the graphics with your YFZ, so if you didn't get them go back to the dealer and have him give you a set.

Question About My New 2006 YFZ450 Bill Ballance Edition
My quad doesnt have the Bill Ballance nerf bars, grab bar or graphics. I only got the pipe and filter. What a rip, now I'm pissed after dropping $8,600.00 and not getting everything I was supposed to. The nerf and grab bar is over #300.00 worth of stuff.

$8600??? wow.
that seems like a rip whether you got the stickers or nerf bars...i can get a regular YFZ for like a little over 6000 around here... screw a bill ballance editon if your not going to get the TOTAL package. contact the BBB and get a lawyer to send them a letter. that will shake them up a little. they may even give you some free stuff.

If your dealer does not come through for you with the parts you paid for, but did not receive, then contact Yamaha customer service directly and file a written complaint against your dealer for fraud. Gauranteed Yamaha will have the parts sent your way promptly.
And how about telling all of us the name of that dealer, so we know who to avoid in the future. He sounds like a crook to me.
