Default Blow By????????

I read in the yamaha part of the forum how to adjust the valves. I have already done that and my 04 raptor runs good but I'm still getting suit from the end of my pipe and loosing a little oil. Not a bunch of oil but enough to concern me. What I'm wondering is if my valves are too tight then will I loose compression and get blow by or is that raw fuel I have blowin' out. Plug looks ok but I'll replace it anyway. So what do ya think guys Valves, oil or rings.....please not rings.....

I don't know about the oil problem, but the soot is normal.

soot is normal and if you are having to put in like .1 a quart every 20 hours that is most likely just a little cylinder warp and the rings are going to be replaced soon.. or a leaky head gasket.

if this is half a quart everytime you ride this should be looked into furthur because that is ALOT of oil that you are burning.
