Kodiak 450 or AC 400 LE ?

not much. Thats a good price. I love mine but I think I might move up in size and sell mine due to the farm work that I'm going to start doing with my 2004 450. I'm asking $6200 for mine but it is loaded with all the extras

definetely depends on what you will use it for-i have both in my garage-but the 450 is non IRS
choose the kodiak if you want a nimble machine, that is smaller and sportier
choose the AC if you want a working quad, with lots of ground clearance
i think the AC is underpowered for its size
both have a low range for pulling stuff
both are very capable off roaders
both are reliable

the pipe is great, not to load. has a different and deep tone. I ride some on farm land when I hunt so I wanted one that passed all the laws. it was real easy to install. the clutch is a different thing. I helped a friend install it and he is a good mechanic. wasn't all that hard but took a little time. but it was worth it. I was really surprise on how much it helped. I really like my 450 but looking at a bigger one.

I have a 2003 kodiak 450 with about 1200 miles on it. I'm selling it for about $4500. It's been a great machine but I just want to get one with the IRS. I don't do a lot of hauling, except for game. The 450 has great low end power. We had 3 quarters of a moose, the head and horns, my wife and a buddy who is about 250 all on at once. It never once seemed to be lacking power even going up some pretty long hills. Of course we were going pretty slow, but most people who have them for hunting or work don't need all the speed of a bigger machine.
