05 raptor 350 question!!

Ok Speedy2222.....I dont ever post on these type of things..becouse i dont like kids telling me im wrong.. When they do not know what there talking about......
You are right if were are talking about a stock 350 warrior/rappy....A header does not help that much....
If you have any head work done as in a Cam.. Or porting and polishing and header will help out....
If you are running any kind of big bore kit with a 10.25:1 up to a 12:1 pistion you NEED a header pipe...
More air in and more air out makes HP.....
So you need to find out the facts before you call anyone names......

also look at alot of exhaust posts there is always a big emphasis on getting a FULL SYSTEM and i personally have miced the diameter of a stock vs aftermarket head pipe and they are oversized and flow better on a stock or modified motor.

lil, you MAY need to rejet, no big deal. throw a new plug in it and keep an eye on it, that is after every ride, when the head is COOL or cold. white is BAD, black, not so great, you want light brown to tan. ride it a couple times where it gets good and warmed up then let me know what the plug looks like and i'll help you.

you are a f(_)cking dubma$$ if you think a header will add ALOT more power... 1st off.. the warrior/raptor 350 header is sufficient for any mods out there.. if you truly want to waste money go buy one or if you are doing some crazy 430 stroker with some crazy setup.,. otherwise it's just a money waster

I have to disagree with you with the header. If you NEED an aftermarket header with a big bore kit, then why does Powroll recommend using the stock header with a slip on with any of their big bores/strokers/cams? Take a look on their website powroll warrior/raptor 350. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and read under the exhaust category.

to all others.. research the facts before you say what you think you know.. i know alot more about these than most...
Every engine builder has there own ways of doing things....Iv built many warrior motors.. I have my own way of building them...As do all of you.....
If you follow the way everyone does things than everyone would be the same.. I Like to do things diffent...
And i dont care about other peoples facts becouse iv got my own...
But to each there own..
I just wished we lived a little closer so we could line them up....
Its all in good clean fun.....
