Kodiak wheel sizes
#1
Well after a few rides in the rocky terrain by me, my stock tires and rims have just about had it. I've already taken a hammer to the rim to seal the bead back and I've emptied a container of tire sealer into the tire to stop all the leaks. I'm looking for a set of tires and rims that would fit nice on the kodiak 450 and hold up. I'm pretty set on getting a set of Douglas Rokstar wheels, "they claim to be the toughest Aluminum wheel out there?" Any other suggestions???? Granted, I need something tough. I would love to get a set of beadlock wheels, but, the ones I saw are like 15lbs a piece and I don't think ITP makes them anymore. I'm looking at 26" tires. I like the new ITP Mudlite XTR radials, but, they are ridiculously priced. So I'm thinking about getting the GBC Dirtdevils XT, they are 6 ply rated, so they seem pretty tough. The rims are 12X7 both front and rear. The confusing part for me is the dimension of tires. The front tires measure 26X10X12. For the Rear I can get the same as the front or 26X12X12? I get the the 26 part, is the middle the width of the tire? Last number, the diameter of rim? If anybody has any pics of their kodiak without stock rims, I would love to see them to get ideas.

you are right about the dimensions of the tire-middle# is width and last # is wheel diameter
ITP still makes C Series bead locks- itptires.com
