storing wheels?

whats the best way to store spare wheels and tires?
I have some paddles that are laying in the garage. Should I lay them flat on carboard or a towel?

tell u the truth, have spar set with just card board inbetween. Nothing can really go bad or wrong. But u should clean the wheels and rims if its for a little bit so they dont tart or loose color.

thanks, I wasnt sure if weight of the other tires would do something to the shape of the tire laying them on top of each other.
