Raptor sprocket for rookie
I purchased a well maintained mildly modified 03 Raptor, and I find for the riding I do the gearing is a little fast. It came with several sets of sprockets for front and rear, and was wondering what set-up would be best to start from. I imagine once I build a little riding experience I could play with the ratio from there. I'm running a 20" mudlite right now.
We mostly ride woods trails with fast whoops and tight, banked corners. The trails open up into sand pits with a few muddy areas. I find I'm almost always half a gear high or low
Is reverse supposed to be that fast? I've found it mostly useless, other than for backing out of the garage as it stalls so easy. Is there a limiter override like on a polaris or something I could rig?
