street legal?

It's been done before. It's regulated by your local laws, so you'd have to contact a local authority such as a shop that does state inspections for cars, or better yet, motorcycles. Some places only require a horn, turn signals, a mirror, and a license plate, while other areas make it almost impossible.

I set mine up to be street legal. I contacted our state DOT to find out if it was possible and if so, what the requirements were. In South Dakota you need a horn, mirror, tail light/brake light, light for the license plate (if the tail light won't light it up), brakes on all wheels, over 200cc's and insurance. I've seen a lot of cops and they never look twice at me. I can take it anywhere but the interstate. Like recon99 said, check with your local and state laws to see if you can do it and what the requirements are if you can.
