i heated the axle housing, not the axle it self....why would i heat the axle... u cant really heat the bearing cause on one side u have the break rotor (the side thats its really stuck on) and the other side, which isnt really stuck... u get the bearring warmer heating the axle housing rather then just one end of the bearring...even though i still heated the end of the bearing also

trialsrider172,

If you are anywhere near a Harbor Freight Tools go buy yourself a slide hammer. Slide Hammer Or if you know someone who has one. It will pull right out no heating required.

now thats some good advice that is much apreciated right there. it might not have enough force though, i mean, if a sledge hammer cant do it, a slide hammer may not work...but i'll try anything at this point. thanks smb. i'll ask my neighbor if hes got one, hes got every tool under the sun

trialsrider172,

I guarantee it will pull your axles out with no problem.

Good Luck.

good try smb, but theres no way to hook it up to the axle, and the sledge hammer i was using has more force then that could anyways...this things really stuck
