how much faster will the raptor reach the top speed than a banshee, were its a four stroke?....would it beat a banshee in the short run?...plz reply back

Both the banshee and raptor 660 stock have very close top speeds around 72-75mph and it depends on the terrain to which will reach it quicker, the banshee gets lots of wheelspin and the rappy wants to wheelie. so its more on the rider and what type of power you like.

trailntrack you might want to think twice about blasters I have a video of one beating a ported banshee with drag pipes PM me your email and I will send the video to you And as far as your banshee going 92 it VERY unlikly that it will even break 80 mph

you can get a stock banshee or raptor to do 90 with nothing more than changing sprockets, but it will be a dog on the bottom end. I have had mine (not a stock raptor)up to 102 with 14/39 gears on the street, but it is very hard to do that on dirt because of wheel spin, at those speeds it gets too light and is hard to keep traction.

... a bone stock Banshee you could possibly get to hit 76... thats what my service manager claims his did stock. Now, modding an engine doesn't make it go faster top-speed-wise unless you mess with gear ratio's and final drive ratio. It doens't matter how much HP you have, when your crank is spinning as fast as it can, the input/output shafts are spinning the same speed as they were with no mods... that ratio doesn't change with normal mods. Therefore, to get a quad to go faster than it did stock, you need new sprockets/gears or rear tires. HP just means you can get to that max RMP faster than a normal stocker.
