How do I get rid of blaster oil injection?
#1
Could somebody please tell me exactly what to do to disconnect my oil injection? I have had people say "just plug the hoses" and others saying I have to take the gear out? could somebody that has done this before or knows exactly what to do please point me in the right direction. thanks.

You can just remove the cover and remove the pump. Next, split the case and remove the first e-clip, little pin and the gear. Leave the last clip to hold the shaft in. Put the case back together and place the pump back on. Just block off the hoses and there you go.

No, no dont go tearing the motor case apart. I am referring to the pump. Take the side cover off and then you will see what I am talking about. It is a real simple procedure. Print out the steps I gave you and then go out and take the cover off. You will see what I am talking about. If not feel free to ask again before you tear something apart that doesn't need to be. I think that once you take the cover off you will understand it thou.

Theres some confusion here. remove the small cover over the oil pump, then remove the large side cover that it was bolted to(the one that the kick start lever goes into, and yes remove the kickstart lever too) that is the cover that you will see the plastic gear etc...on the inside of it. But I would not put the pump back on. You can buy a block off plate or even make one yourself that bolts on where the pump was. just remember the cover needs a gasket too (same gasket as the oil pump used)
