How do you YFM350R owners like your 350 raps? How competetive are you with 400s? I've had my 'tree-fiddy for about a month and I can't stop friggin with it. Spacers, grab bars, exhausts, a-arms, swing arms, filters, jet kits ect... It's an expensive hobby!

So far I love my Raptor 350, plenty of power, very reliable, and just all around awsome. My list of mod's on it is below, for me since I'm just a trail rider I don't really need that much speed. If you wanna see some pics heres a link webshots .

Naw, I wouldn't say it's a stiff bike, the stock suspension is actually pretty good. You mite be thinking of the banshee 350, my friend has one, its an awsome sand bike, but one trails it rides like a brick.

I have pleanty of seat time on those little 350's and heres what i have to say. Compared to a 400 they are nothing, closer to a 300ex in my book. But i don't want to start an arguement. Those things are really fun bikes, plus that 6 speed really sets them off. The only real complaint i have is lack of wheelie power, to me they requiere alot of clutch work to get the front end up, but once you have it up you can go through the gears like its nobody's business. Peace.

my 350 rappy with intake, carb work and full exhaust keeps pace easily with a DVX400... never had it all the way out on either one. but through tight trails I own! It's not as tall, which I like... not nearly as tippy and more solid than the DVX. His DVX looks like my power wheels I had when i was 3... it looks cheap and cheesy to me. Kinda goes along with it's counter parts... Suzi Z400 and Kawis KFX400. I guess it's personal preferance... I sell Yammies, so I'm biased anyway I guess. But my modded 350 keeps pretty good pace with a piped DVX and I paid WAY less.

I have raced an older warrior (99 or something) with cam ,high compression, full pipe, and airfilter, and i still beat him, even if only by a small margin. A dvx is not a cheap quad by any means. They are all really good bikes (z & kfx). My Z has never known to be tippy. On the trails i think you are just a better rider than your friend, because in my opinion the dvx has way more available power than a raptor 350. To tell you the the truth the z and its clones are more on par with the 660 raptor, until heavier mods are applied, then the raptor is much much faster. In saying what i said i really don't want to start an arguement. Maybe just a freindly debate at most. Peace.

If their both stock the 400 would most likely the 400 would anytime, but a moded 350 can leave any 400 behind. Usually I can keep up with my friends KFX400 no prob and all I have is jets, and a better air filter. On tight trails I usually can leave any all the others behind except my buddies 660r.

the wheelie thing isnt due to lack of power its due to nose weight and as fas as a 300 ex lol not much comp there but def no competion for no 400z the z are bad bikes i just got a bruin the 350 motor on my raptor 350 and my bruin350 has plenty of power for trail rideing or hill climbing i love both my 350's i added a few parts to my 350 in stock form i got bored fast but a few add on made it fun i hardly ever run out of power!!! by summer time i plan on getting a 700R i ride my buddys 400z some times not a big enuff diff between the two since ive wide,en mine up i want the huge power of the 700 cant wait. But i would highly suggest getting THE 350 RAP ITS A GREAT ATV GOOD POWER A LITTLE NOSE HEAVY BUT OVERAL AWESOME ATV!!!
