What can i do?

Default What can i do?

Hey guys is there anything i can do my oil cooler is snapped, and theres a good 12-16 inches of snow coming and i was thinking maybe theres something i can do so i can actually ride. I figure theres nothing but hey worth a shot right heres the snap

I don't think there's a quick fix for that. I don't think it's possible to solder aluminum coolers.

Damn this sucks, i was gonna get a new one but nowhere has them local can anyone point me in the direction where to get one.

I'd say ebay or order one from a yamaha dealer.

If you can't find one on ebay for cheap i'd probably get an oil cooler/tranny cooler for a car and make it fit. I just looked up the cost for an OEM cooler element, and it's almost $200! I'm using a hayden transmission cooler for a small car and it works fine, and only cost me $20 on ebay brand new. You would have to modify the oil lines, but it would only cost about $20 to replace the lines with brand new oil lines.

I have a broken mazda b2200 in my driveway maybe the oil cooler would work from that, its a 4 banger

I also have a harley davidson taken apart in my garage ill try to find the cooler off that
Will any other atv coolers fit, the bruins is not on ebay and from yamaha its 165

It would work if you can find enough space for it, and can get fittings for the oil lines.

any other coolers from like honda 300 ex's fit or anything i dont see many utility coolers on ebay

Hmmm, can't tell much from the photo. But have you considered JB weld?
