Default YFZ shock conversion

here is my buddies website

http://www.paloverdemx.com/

i love my rear shock built by him. im still waiting for my deal on my yfz fronts on ebay. But anyways IF YOU HAVE +2 A-Arms, he swears he can make the yfz shocks outperform works triple rates for $175. And i dont doubt him. THE yfz shocks are a great race shock on the raptor only if you can MAINTAIN the use of the stock yfz spring. +2 A-arms on your raptor allow you to keep teh stock yfz springs, but if you are on stock length arms you will need to change the springs no matter who re-valves them. And if you have to change the spring thats where you get teh price increase.

So is that $175 for both front shocks with new springs?

no the $175 is a both both shocks on the stock springs, and you can only use your stock springs if you have +2 a-arms, like me.

The YFZ shocks work fine with the stock Raptor headlamps. No clearance problems here. They do lower your ride height though. I put on a lowering kit(1 inch) on the rear to compensate. Handles awesome now.
