Maybe I didn't expalin well enough. The pipe came with an open endcap or the closed cap. Should i run the open cap with the dics, just the open endcap or the closed USFS cap and discs for max performance. The reason i ask is because the open cap also came with short screws to run without the discs.

I have a Ron Woods pipe on my DS. after I recieved it I realized that it had no sparkarresor... I called Ron Woods to see what tod , since we camp quite a bit. I bought a 23 disc super trapp($175) it has zero restiction but is USFS approved spark arrestor.

Muffler catch on fire? WTF!
But anyways, it depends on the machine and the mods. Some quads will put out more power with the discs, while others do better with the open end. There's really no reason to run both the discs and the open end, just use one or the other. Just try both and see which you like more. I doubt you're going to feel a difference between the two other than it being louder with the open end cap.
