I read about this guy onanother board I think. He wasn't wearing a helmet correct?

Of the more than 136,000 ATV riders injured nationally in 2004, 130 died, Gutersloh said. "These are motor vehicles, not toys," he said.
This is a reason why I hate the media. If you do the math that means that 0.096 percent of people who were in ATV accidents died. I would say that is a pretty low percentage. And I would bet that of those 130, 100 of them weren't wearing helmets.

I would say thats not even a bad number at all for injured people for the millions of atv rider's. Compared to other injuries and deaths (like drunk driving) thats a very very small number!
Thats the part i dont understand too, some chose not to be safe, like were a helmet, and other's take the blame. Their definately not building us a park to ride now.

This topic made me make a username, stupid people that cant ride **** me off. Me, as i live is hauppauge only have 3 options. Boheimia and Yapank (both pay), or exit 56 on the L.I.E.
I'm only 15, so i dont know how toget to places, but off exit 56 there a good place. its not private property, and its been there for like, 20 years (no joke). I was just wondering, do you guys got any good places to go???

This kind of BS ticks me off. The guy wasn't killed because he was riding an ATV on public roads. He was killed because he drove it into a pole. He could have driven the ATV into a pole off road just as easy.

When someone drives a car into a pole do they crack down on the number of cars on the road?

Idiots.

True about the utility drivers hating helmets, especially that they do just as stupid things like insane climbs. But, sometimes u come across ones that care and incourage them.

BasSTiD and Yamman31, sent u a PM
