Hi, I currently have a 2004 Yamaha Big Bear 400 4X4 my problem is that the big bear doesn't have some of the features that I want such as the kod/giz front locker, skidplate, IRS and ultramatic trans. Should I try to sell it and get a kodiak or grizzly or should I just put a DGL and skidplate on and deal with the 5 speed and SRA? I can't really seem to figure out if it would be worth $2000 to do this. Thanks

 

to deck out your BB the way a kodi/griz already are... it'll probably be a touch cheaper but then you'll still have a solid rear and manual trans like you siad. I'd say that you're lookin at about a $25-3500 trade value depending on condition and milage and new kodi/griz will run ya from about $6195-$8995 depending on model and trim package. A DU Griz pulls a pretty price tag. If you sell your BB outright and buy a new one strait, especially an new left over 2005, you can get a hell of a deal. I just sold an `05 450 Kodi for $5400 + tax and tags. I'd step up bro, but thats just me.
