Yamaha Blaster works shock servicing
#1
I bought a pair of works shocks of ebay about a month ago and they need to be serviced or rebuilt. I got front and rear with rezzies for 350. I have only takin the fronts for a ride around the yard and they are extremely soft, they are set up for a 200lb rider and they bottom out when i bairly jump on the bumper. This cant be normal sense i only weigh 130. The rear needs a new bushing so i havn't mounted it yet. The fronts compress in the corners when they should stay uncompressed. Do they need to be rebuilt and if they do can i have them done by my local yamaha dealer. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

you are WAY wrong.. if they are set for 200lbs and you are 130 they should be stiffer.. not really soft..

What do you mean WAY wrong? He's saying that there's something wrong with them, not that they're set up too soft.

Yeah i've taken notice to that, you do come up with some responses that are way out there, kinda like you're responding to a completely different question.
