Default stability of 2003 grizzly

how are the grizzly when it come to riding trails or riding trails with ruts, and when they go up steep hills are they bad to want to raise up in the front end. I have picked a 2003 grizzly to be my next ATV. I noticed this week end when I was riding my 2004 kodiak down a steep hill and I hit a rut and I thought that I was going to tip over. does IRS help this.

they r a bigger bike so trail riding is little ruffer, mainly because you don't realise how fast your going and it takes a lot more body movment/work to manover around trees, comepared to the kodi.. i r s is very nice will take time to get used too. main thing is your going to feel like your going to tip over alot but your realy not it's just the way you feel with the irs. i don't understand the rut and you tipping though how did you hit it ? and the hole hill thing, i am 20 weighing in at a wopping 150pounds (with my boots on) 5' 8" and yes if your not leaning forward and the hipp is stright up and down um ya the front end would love to come up on you. there is a realy bigg amount of power in the grizz. but as long as you don't crack the gas on the hill it will stay down for the most part. lets put it this way we make paths going up hill and i can sitt down and run over little trees and brush with no problem, but if i crack the gas just befor i hit the tree i would role back down the hill. 1/2 - 3/4 throttle will be just fine going up hills sit and lean forward.full throttle standing up leaning forward will still bring the front end up ! up grading to the grizz good call man i love mine ! gas hog though if you fav it going over 55mph!
