I ride my Banshee in the desert and dunes. The PRM 6-pack rack with a 2 or 2.5 Gal. tank works great. My riding buddies and I never had any problems with this setup. It does change the weitght distribution some but nothing dramatic. This is an acceptable option for recreational riding and you can use the rack for other stuff when on shorter rides. Hope this helps.

I really think I'm gonna go for the PRM cargo-rack (the big one). My only fear is : can it be used as wheelie bar? If I get a monster wheelie (say, in 3rd) and fall backwards...will it stay on?
You have the sixpack. Is it well manufactured? Nice and tough weldings? Does it fot right?

I really think I'm gonna go for that.

The PRM rack is built well and is all aluminum. It bolts to the existing grab bar mounts. My buddy just got the larger cargo rack for his Raptor and he was happy with his purchase. It looks like it can take a good wheelie and it may even keep you from flipping better than the stock grab bar since it’s wider and sticks out further. The hardest part for me was to find a gas tank that fit just right. The gas tanks that PRM sells on the Raptor cargo racks are the same as the one you can find at Home Depo or Wallmart for less. I had to look around for a while before I found one that fit just right in the 6–pack rack. I also have a PRM Bottom Frame plate. They talked me out of their heavy duty one and I’m glad. This one does just fine without the extra weight. I hope this helps.
Ride on, and keep the Dunes open.
