Has anyone figured out how to get rid of the Raptor 700's speed limiter in 5th gear? Also how many rpms does it take away in 5th gear i have never really figured that one out? Thanks Any info would be greatly appreciated Jamie Mace

 

The only speed limiter I know of is the factory gearing. I need a 6th gear in the desert....a 1 tooth larger front sprocket would take care of that.

 

there was some initial speculation that the 700 had a speed limiter on top of the rev limiter but I believe it was discovered that it was just a reverse speed limiter. On another popular yamaha forum this was discussed quite a bit.
