what is the perpose of putting a Radiator on the front rack ? notice on the bigger mudding bikes?

another thing is has anyone tryed the magic box off ebay for there bike/atv ?

 

As far as i know, the purpose of the radiator mounted on the rack is an attempt to keep mud from packing into the radiator and causing overheating.

What's this about a magic box? Do you mean a rev box?

 

The purpose is, to help keep mud off it and keep from overheating. Mudders do this also to keep it out of the water.

 

I'd do a forum search on that magic box.
There seems to be more bad results from it than good. =[ just my .02¢

 

hey thanks dudes. i figgered that was it but i wasn't shure. i also thought someone with it on the front rack may have borded there bike and wanted to play it safe and put a bigger one on. recon99 no i didn't mean rev box. but was looking in'to one do you know of any good one , and or do you know of anything that will save on gas and give hourse power to the grizz.? i figger if anyone knows it's you. don't get me ron the bike is quite peppy but what could i little more do ? but bad on gas is poopy you know ! thanks everyone

 

I can't really think of much you could do to get better fuel mileage, when the quad is stock that's about as good as the mileage is going to get.

A rev box isn't going to do much for your power, they do enhance the timing curve for a little more power, but it's probably not enough to feel on the a$$ dyno.

Every worthwhile mod I can think of will effect your fuel mileage negatively. More power = more fuel consumption.

The dial-a-jets are claimed to increase fuel mileage, but it might be just a bunch of hype.
