I was wondering how long before I saw a stupid post like this. You should be kicked out just for asking such a stupid question loser. I'll I will say is It is too damn easy....Why can't they come up with a better way of protecting the quads from theft. I bet almost half the quads in my area are stolen...? The State police officer down the road leaves his out in his driveway all night. I hope he catches one of them sorry SOB's

I don't get the feeling that macdady12269a is a quad thief but then I don't know him so... He probably didn't expect to get flamed so badly for his post. Personally, I've trucked my quad out somewhere to go ride only to realize that I left the dam key hanging up in my barn...that really hurt! I'd personally call a lock smith and ask how much to key the thing. I couldn't imagine it would be more than about $25 or so. Then make some copies in case you lose it again...these things do happen.
As for others not wanting to post how to get around the key issue, I absolutely agree 100%. I had my newspaper stolen yesterday and wanted to kick some a$$ so I could only imagine how pissed I'd be if someone ever stole my ride. But again, no disrespect to you personally, I don't think you are that guy.

I'd just go to the dealer and buy a new key, eventually you'll need it. If you keep hotwiring your quad it will eventually cause you problems, if you think the quad is boosted than order a new ignition.

i know for a fact that its not boosted because i bought it off my best friend who bought it brand new when i was with him when i got it it only came with one key and i didnt think to get coppise and i called the dealer the other day and told him how i lost it and if i could buy a new one from them and they said i had to buy the whole key system and thats like 100 bucks which i dont have and would rather spend it on mods for it
