Default More power

I have a 2003 raptor 660, It is completely stock i just bought it last year, and would love to make some mods to it. I use to ride 250 2 stroke dirt bikes, and i thought the raptor would be comparible but it isn't. I need more power and if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Full system pipe brings those beasts to life! Then i would go to a 11:1 compression piston, with a stage 2 hotcam. Thats just a few bolt on/drop in things you could do to really crank out the power.

The Lrd pipes and silencers are supposed to give them like 15 hp. or something like that.

No you don't have to pull the motor out to put the cam in. Nor the piston. I like the way trinity's pipe looks the best. That or the silver hmf. Those are both good pipes. The amount of h.p. you get may not be the highest, but those both have very nice curves. The lrd is good but not for 15h.p. In d.w. it says combined with a dyna jet kit, you can get up to 50.1 h.p. But thats is in perfect conditions, on a generous dyno. CT is supposedly the best for peak h.p. but that is not always the best pipe for the money. What kinda riding are you into? Trinity is a good mid-to top end pipe, and that stainless look is really sweet! You can look at alba for a piston cam kit for around $350. And a good pipe from about 400 to 550. Good luck.

Well currently I am into allot of gravel pit riding, but I would like to start on some mx tracks this year once i get some more power to the wheels. I have been checken out the yoshimura trc comp exhaust it seems pretty good a lil more $$$ but i don't mind payen a lil more i want to keep this machine for a while. Have u heard anything about the yoshimura exhaust sytems for the raptors? and thanks
