change the plug, increase the idle speed to spec., and change the jetting richer if needed.

is the engine backfiring through the carbs? if so you'd hear an audible pop just before the carbs
come off. is the machine broken in yet? if so, have you taken it back to the dealer to have the valves
readjusted? if not, then i'd suggest you do. my buddies raptor had the carbs pop off a few times after the recomended 20 hr. break-in so he had the dealer check the valve clearances and found the valve lash settings on the intakes were to tight resulting in one of the intakes remaining slightly open on the firing stroke causing the carbs to blow off. since the valve service, he's been trouble free.

The carbs are lean on the idle circuit from the factory. I believe my problem is solved after having my machine serviced last week (and riding at least 70 miles this past Saturday and Sunday). Unless you have acquired a maintenance manual, I believe there is no need in trying to adjust the idle circuit yourself, because one side adjusts different (operated 2 valves instead of 1). Also, as far as the carbs blowing loose, the valve adjustment made no difference with mine. Sux to be broke down back in nowhere with a new ride! Have your dealer call their Yamaha representative.

my carbs haven't blown off but. when it was in neutral warming up I gave it some gas and noticed the carbs move back slightly and when you let off they go back to there original place. they aren't sliding on the intake boot but the boot itself is elongating when you rev it. I haven't had my valves adjusted yet, just changed the oil. Haven't had one problem yet with anything.

Your airbox is fastened in an adjustable slot. Try moving it forward, closer to the intake. This should keep the carburetors from being in a constant "pulling away" situation from the motor.
