Has anyone heard of this three wheeler, I'm trying to get pictures of it but I can't seem to find it. I believe it was made between the years of 85-87, I'm confuseing this with the 225dx two completely different machines.
My uncle had one and then got rid of it real cheap and now I'm thinking it might be a rare issue

If it ever existed, you'll see it at 3 Wheeler World: www.angelfire.com/ak2/threewheelio/

HI NorthenEdge
yes yamaha made a 225 dr.it was a three wheeler shaft drive with reverse. I had one back in 1986.
Bought it new at leightons in LEE,NH. They came in blue or yellow. I have seen black ones but i do not know if they were a 225dr. I think the black was a 225dx.

The 225dx were black or yellow. I had a yellow and black ones years ago. They were good bikes, but it would have been better if they had reverse. But it still had shaft drive and reverse. I think the yellow trikes pictures on that web page are of tri moto 200's. The 200's came in various combinations, but never the perfect combination. They came in chain drive, but no rear suspension, no reverse. Also shaft drive, reverse, but no rear suspension.
