The law states that when something is borrowed it has to returned in the same condition it was before. He broke the law riding where cars was. off road use only.

 

That sucks, hopefully your friend will do the right thing and get it back to the condition it was before he rode it. By either buying the parts, paying for them, paying someone to fix it, etc., etc.


The fact that you were so happy with it, and only rode it a few hours only makes the pain worse.
