I have a 98' Yamaha Warrior and I have a problem, so if anyone can help would nice I just got
it back from the shop and they told there wasn't anything wrong with it, But I would like to
have your opnion on what you all think. Here's the problem it want come out of reverse if in
gear and the only way I can get out of reverse if I shut off engine It want even got in neutral
when I put in reverse. I had the engine checked out because it was knocking loud and they
said all engines on atv's knock so help with that too.
Thanks

The trouble with getting it back into gear from reverse is common, it's from the clutch dragging, you could try a better oil like amsoil if you're not already. Also, when I was having this problem I found that revving the engine usually worked to get it back into gear, instead of shutting it off.
How bad is the knocking sound? Some ticking or tapping in the top of the engine is normal, but if you have a serious knock like a hard metal-on-metal sound you might want to take it to another shop. It could be bad bearings or piston slap if it's more than just ticking and tapping.
