Just bought a 1988 Yamaha 350 terrapro and have a service manual ordered but wanted to get started soon. Other than yamalube, what oil is recommended? Thanks

 

Any kind of motorcycle or atv specific motor oil will be safe to use, just don't use regular automotive oil. I use valvoline 10w40 atv oil in the winter, valvoline 20w50 motorcycle oil in the warmer weather. This seems to be the most reasonably priced oil out there.
