rejeting after cam mod
#3
Supposedly going up a size or so ion the pilot will improve your low end. You can probably get away without changing anything, but if it is going to breath better(cam mod) then you really should give it more fuel also.

If anything needs to be done, as mentioned already, you might need to go up on the pilot jet one size.
Personally, mine fired right up after doing the cam mod, so it appears as though I won't need to re-jet. However, I have yet to take it out to the dunes for a good ride, so it is possible that I might still need to go up one on the pilot.
Generally people go up on the pilot if the YFZ is hard to start after doing the cam mod.
Some have had to, and some have not. Just depends on your YFZ.

Off the trailer mine starts right up no problem first time. Once it is hot after a ride ..sits.. Then i get ready for next time it takes a good 10 seconds or so for it finally to fire up. Why would it do that? Do i need to rejet?
Thanks Kevin
Thanks Kevin

I know when mine is hot, it sometimes takes a bit longer to start than when it has cooled down for a few minutes. Wouldn't hurt to go up a pilot size and see if it gets better. You could always go back down if the re-jet doesn't help.
For a reference, my pilot is a 45 and it fires up immediately after letting it cool down from a ride. While hot however, it is slow to turn over, and doesn't fire off right away. Give it about 3-5 minutes though, and it fires right up!
