Ok so Ive got this buddy that has an 03 Grizzly and he took of the exhaust baffle...ok my question is...will this hurt his quad at all? Is he really gaining anything other than an obnoxious pig? Let me know guys...thanks

 

It depends on how much the change threw off his jetting. If it made a big enough difference it could be running lean, which can lead to engine damage. Get him to check the color of the ceramic part of the spark plug, if it's tan it's ok, but if it's white or very light colored he's running lean, and needs to either rejet or put the baffle back in.
