bigP, you stink. Don't post again until you can beat that Outlaw by at least 6 lengths. Turn in your Official Yamaha Membership Badge at once. You are a disgrace to all things that fall under the triple tuning forks, an embarresment to anyone that bleeds true blue.
J/P with ya man. I just think it's cool you have a buddy with an Outlaw to compare notes with. How about you two trade rides for an hour or two and report back with a comparison?

Lay off him yamaha guys. He's just giving a real world account of a race. I know that many yfz riders have had close calls or losses to machines that they should have been able to kill. Most are just too proud to admit it.
The truth is that at the rate things are going a big bore utility will likely be the fastest atv on the market in the near future. Now that will make for some pride swallowing at the finish line.

The outlaw has a different intake and maybe even carb size, in any case I know it's supposed to make an extra hp or two over any of the preds. This helps considering the changes in driveline and extra weight.
The outlaw is a new type of bike and isnt really something that deserves to be compared head to head with a race bred 450 mx bike. It's better compared to trail bikes like the 400's, preds, and big bore raptors. In this arena I think it's quite comprable with advantages and disadvantages.
If I had the cash, I'd probably pick on of them up as a trail bike so I could keep the raptor in the trailer until I race up the hills or along the flats.
