My kodiak is ticking when it get hot. It doesn't tick when you run it hard just when your idling or just barely on the throttle. Seems to get worse as the engine gets hot.


Motor runs great. Do you think its the valves? 650 miles oil changed regularly.

never done anything but ride it and change the oil. You think its the valves?

You can't hear it under load. Its mostly when you idle or just cruise around. You can hear it when you decelerate too. Gets louder as the engine warms up.
