Default 03' Warrior Woes

Here is the setup I am currently using:

Team Alba Performance Exhaust
K&N Air Filter
MAXXIS RAZR M931s - Front
MAXXIS RAZR M932s - Back
ITP T-9 Pro-Series GP Wheels
AC Racing Pro Nerf Bars
AC Racing Bumper

Everything else on this machine is stock. I have heard from a lot of people around here that the Warrior should top out around 55-60MPH. Mine only does MAYBE 50. What could be causing this? I noticed that in 6th, completely topped out, the machine jerks and acts weird, forcing me to let off of the gas. Could this be the result of a bad jetting? Should I take the lid off of the air filter container? What can be done to increase performance easily/cheaply? I'm 16 so everything is new to me. Also, I noticed these while looking through some google searches:

Maier Full Bore Front End Plastic

Anyone seen or tried these?

Sounds like you might be running lean have you rejetted since put on pipe and filter and if so what are you running?
I run my air box lid off and it helps but will need to recheck jetting if remove it.

I bought a Dyno Jet kit so run the needle from it on 4th groove and a 150 main jet Then the fuel mixture screw at 2 1/2 turns

but you need to calculate with your mods and elevation

I started with a 148 main jet which is what the kit recommended for mine with my mods but it runs better with the 150

I bought the machine with everything installed with the exception of the nerfs and bumper, so I'll call the previous owner tonight.

It may not of been rejetted alot of people dont realize you cant just throw a pipe and stuff on with out getting it more fuel. Sometimes dealers arent much better my buddy bought a 400ex and had them put a pipe on there and they didnt rejet it. After talking to me he took it and had it regetted and a high flow filter put in and runs alot better now

What size are the rear tires? If they are 20's or smaller you should get a 14 or 15 tooth front sprocket, which will help boost your top speed, but may cut back on your low end acceleration a tiny bit.
