I am in the process of replacing the one way in my raptor. When I got the harmonic balancer off and flipped it over I noticed one of the bolts that holds the balancer and it together was sheared off! Now, I took a magnet and drug it through the oil sump, and only came up with what kinda looked like half of a bolt head. However it was not actually a bolt head it just kinda resembled one. How can I find the sheared off bolt head. I figured I would come up with it using the magnet. Anyone know what I should do?

If it were me I would take the engine off the bike and comepletely disassmble it.

 

Did you try leaning the bike over to see if it will fall out?

 

you'll probably have to take the engine apart to find it. there's really no other way to go about it.

 

Theres really no telling how long its been in there, and I have been riding it. What will happen if it stays in there? What are the chances that I will really F everything up, if it stays.

 

if it getts to the crank its toost, yank it apart and make sure it hasnt ,just me though
