I just adjusted the valves on my '06 660. I adjusted the intake valves to .010 and the exhaust valves to .015. I got it back together and it runs great. The only thing I notice now is that the valve train seems like it clatters a lot. Am I just paranoid or should I recheck them? Does anyone else have a machine that clatters a little? Thanks in advance.

 

that adjustment u did .10 and.15 was that inches or mm if mm alright but inches it should be .004-.006 intake and .006-.008exhaust if not id recheck clearances

 

They don't purr .. I'll tell you that much. Ever since I bought mine I thought it was noisy to the point something was wrong. But I was assured by my dealer and reading the post on here that its normal.
