Now that the weather has gotten colder my blaster is running really rich, to the point that its fouling plugs. Im running stock exhaust, uni filter with an lrd jet kit(300 main and 30 pilot). what groove should the jet needle be in? I'd appreicate any help at all, thanks.

I would change from a 300 main to a 250 or 260.

You failed to mention in what part of the band you seem to be having the problem. Before juggling all the jets around, I'd suggest trying to determine which jet circuit seems to be the culprit. Starting with the main jet, I'd do a test ride/plug read with a new plug at 3/4 to full throttle for at least 3/4 mile, then witout any further riding at lower RPMs pull the plug & check for color. This color should either show you a problem or eliminate one as far as the main jet is concerned. If no rich condition is found, then do the same test again at 1/4 to 3/4 throttle to check the needle jet. I wouldn't think there will be a rich indication here, given your elev. & temp. If so you may have another problem, such as premix oil/gas ratio?
