Default Replacement Tyres

I'll be up for my first set of replacement tyres on my 700R soon and are just wondering if it's best to put the original Dunlop back on or are there better tyres out there???? My main riding is gravel, limestone pine plantations etc.... With the odd trip into the dunes... Any opinions would be appreciated.

Skip the stockers, and go for something 4+ply. ITP, Maxxis, GBC, whatever. While the stockers aren't bad, you should get a nice little improvement by switching out. I like Holeshots best, but have never owned any of the Razr lineup either.

It sounds like you do a lot of riding on loose surfaces, I think kenda klaws are a tire worth looking at for you. They have a reversible tread pattern too, so you can flip them to get the best traction, depending on if you're riding on hard or soft surfaces. They're also one of the lighter and cheaper sport tires out there.
