OK so i bought a new white bros e series slip on for my Raptor. I asked the guys from white bros if it had to be rejetted. They said no. I asked the dealership who installed it and they said no but "we make an external adjustment to the carb". So whats the deal. Do i go and buy new jets for my carbs and if so which sizes? I am out longisland new york ands its pretty much sea level here. Also do i bother with drilling holes in my airbox? Also i have aired out my bike big time..bottomed it several times and my axle is still straight. I just ordered a durablue adjustable axle. Am also interested in getting some wider a -arms for it and some really good shocks too. i am 255 pounds. Any recomendations?

If you drill holes in your air box you'll definatley have to jet the carbs, you'll have to go up on your jets. With just the slip on you should be alright dont listen to your local dealer go with whatevet whitebros says. Instead of drilling holes in your airbox I would call PRO DESIGN up and get there filter system.

The dealership had mentioned that name to me but said that its not available yet. I know i should be very cautious of what they tell me. So if i get the pro-tec sytem i will have to rejett or no? The stock filter is kind of lame anyway

joeyd, first let me just say wise move with White Brothers E-Series. I had called White Bros. on monday basically to get a comparison on the R-Series/E-Series systems. The tech guy I spoke with told me the E-Series would be the better of the two. But he went on to tell me that they are working on a jet kit to accommodate the E-Series system, and that in the mean time recommends running with 8-10 of the discs. I would probably be more apt to use 10 myself. I hope to have White Bros. system myself (bad time of year) in near future. Let me know if you try reducing the discs/how many/and what the outcome is.

I've used White Bros. in the past and was very pleased with the results.

Yeah it was hard ..i know evryone and their mother is going to be making pipes soon. As i can see from a lot of the posts out there. I knew that white bros was a good name to go with just because of the years of experience they have. MY cousin has the same pipe on his mojave and it did wonders for it. It s weird how the same company can give you different info. I am goin to run the 10 disc set-up myself and test it out on sat. I will keep you [posted.
